"Let your light so shine" bulletin board

Focus your bulletin board theme around the well-known quote from Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men.” Use black bulletin board paper as the background with yellow crepe paper as a border. Cut silhouettes of flamed candles out of white card stock and let students color those flames with red, orange and yellow markers. After you have placed the candles, create a sign with the themed verse featured on it.

"Follow the Leader" theme

Opt for a bulletin board theme to help students consider their choices in following Jesus Christ. Find bulletin board cut-outs of fish and blue bulletin board paper. Cover the board with the paper for a water background, and use one large fish and as many small fish cut-outs as you have students. Let the students each decorate a small fish and sign their names. Teach your class about the life lessons of standing firm under pressure and having faith with your bulletin board. Create a nature scene: blue paper for sky, green paper for grass, a yellow circle for the sun and a brown tree trunk in the center. Give the students bulletin board decorations in fall colors and attach them to the tree. In the grass, place a sign with the theme, "Fall for Jesus."
